The Event Specialist is responsible for the development and successful ongoing deployment of external and internal events that grows the public image for Stellar Industries. This position works closely with the marketing leadership team and external vendors to plan, execute, and drive brand awareness through effective events and marketing activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
• Tradeshow Execution – Work with key departments and outside vendors to organize and plan company tradeshows, including booth floorplan, budgeting, scheduling, displays, equipment, branding, public relations, advertising, and at-show-events.
• Community Outreach - Coordinate community outreach and PR activities with HR and/or other departments as needed
• Content Creation – Work with key departments, distributors, and customers to create engaging content for social media, newsletters, and blog posts through setting up photo shoots and other events.
Other Duties:
• Membership Administration - Maintain industry association activities and relationships to fulfill membership qualifications
• On-site support - managing registration, set-up, signage and A/V equipment. Post show reporting including event reports and lead tracking.
• Assist Marketing Team – Assist the marketing team as needed with group projects, trade shows, events, social media, and marketing campaigns
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• BA or BS degree from an accredited four-year college or university; or three to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience coordinating large-scale events
• Familiar with the use of PC’s including Microsoft Office or similar software programs.
• Familiar with Apple products and marketing collateral creation software, especially Adobe Creative Suite
• Familiar with internet and internet applications including social media

Travel:
Some overnight travel by car or air is expected and amount will be determined by trade show schedule and other marketing events as well as professional development
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license
• Have or the ability to obtain a commercial driver’s license (CDL) is a plus but not required
