Overview

The Director of Technology & Innovation, will lead transformational efforts across the organization, championing innovation, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision-making. This role will oversee the Project Management Office (PMO), ERP modernization, and business process optimization, playing a pivotal role in aligning IT strategy with business objectives. As a key leader, this role is integral to ensuring that IT initiatives not only meet the technical needs of the organization but also drive measurable value and support long-term growth.

 

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with senior leadership to align IT initiatives with the company’s strategic goals.
  • PMO Leadership: Establish and lead the PMO, standardizing portfolio management practices, tools, and methodologies. Ensure efficient project delivery aligned with business objectives.
  • ERP Modernization: Lead the ERP transformation initiative, collaborating with cross-functional teams to assess and optimize ERP systems.
  • Business Process Optimization: Lead a team to analyze, design, and improve business processes across departments.
  • Data and Analytics Leadership: Drive data strategy, governance, and analytics initiatives, ensuring data is leveraged for decision-making.
  • Stakeholder Management: Maintain strong relationships with internal teams, ensuring clear communication and effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Team Development: Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Risk Management: Mitigate risks related to project delivery, ERP transformation, and data analytics.

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing operations and IT integration.
  • Proven experience in leading large-scale business transformation initiatives.
  • Expertise in business process optimization, data analytics leadership, and portfolio management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, ERP, or data analytics) are a plus.

Skills:

  • Strategic thinker with excellent communication, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
  • In-depth understanding of key technologies: ERP platforms, project management methodologies (PMI, Agile), and data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • This position requires a strong blend of leadership, strategic thinking, and deep understanding of manufacturing, Business processes, and data analytics.
